Order Material

Radioactive material orders can only be placed through UShop (if non-medical) or through the Radiopharmacy at the Huntsman Cancer Institute (if medical). Instructions for ordering (through UShop) and receiving radioactive material are found in the Acquisition and Receipt of Radioactive Material Training in Bridge.

The following is required for all UShop orders of radioactive material.

• One item limit per order.
• Name of Permit Holder (PI/RU who has been issued a Radiation Permit) in the “Shipping Address: ATTN” line.
• Radioisotope and its total activity (in units of curie (Ci)). The type and activity must not violate the constraints of the Radiation Permit.
